Customer Relationships – what we achieve when we listen to each other

Presentation Type: Panel Presentation

In 2003 Computing and Communications Services at U of Guelph formed an Information Technology Student Advisory Committee.  In 2012 Queen's ITServices got themselves one of those and in 2014 added a Faculty Advisory Committee.  Other universities, including U of Waterloo, have a variety of advisory committees.  These committees help us learn about our customers - what matters to them about the services we provide.  It also gives us a chance to explain to the users why we do what we do - building trust through understanding.  Come listen to what we've learned and hear what advisory committees can do for you.
